Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

SmartSupply is operated by Big Vision Ventures, LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information when you visit smartsupplyapp.com, create an account, or use a Supplier’s branded portal. An account is your login, whether or not you belong to an Org.

U.S. privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, apply to this policy. We do not maintain an establishment in the EEA or UK for purposes of this notice.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide and information generated by use of the service:

• Account data: email address, password (stored by our auth provider), name, and organization membership when you have it.
• Supplier business data: organization name, branding, domains, ERP connection settings, and imported customers, contacts, and invoices.
• Payment data: payment method details are collected and stored by the Supplier’s payment processor. We receive tokens, status, and amounts needed to record a payment — not full card numbers.
• Technical data: IP address, browser, device, and coarse usage logs needed to operate, secure, and debug the service.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• provide, maintain, and secure SmartSupply;
• authenticate users and send transactional email (invites, reminders, security);
• process invoice payments and related Platform Fees;
• communicate about the service and respond to requests;
• comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. How we share information

We share information with processors who help us run SmartSupply, including hosting, authentication, email, error monitoring, and payment processing. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used in U.S. state privacy laws. A Supplier can see the customer and invoice data they imported and the payments made on their portal. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and its users.

5. Supplier and customer data

When a Supplier imports customer or invoice records, that Supplier determines what business data is stored and who is invited to the portal. Customer Contacts should direct access or correction requests about those records to the Supplier they pay, and may also contact us. We process that data to provide the portal the Supplier asked us to run.

6. Retention and security

We retain account and transaction records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a hosted billing product. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your choices

You may update profile information in the product and request deletion of your account by contacting us. Some records (for example completed payments) may be retained as required by law or the Supplier’s accounting needs.

8. U.S. state privacy rights

If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, delete it, correct inaccurate information, obtain a copy, and appeal our decision if we decline a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To submit a request, email legal@smartsupplyapp.com. We may need to verify your identity. You may use an authorized agent as permitted by law. Nevada residents may direct us not to sell covered information at the same address; we do not sell that information.

9. Children

SmartSupply is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. You must be at least 18 to create an account. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it.
